I love this item! The power button is a little sensitive BUT, easily manageable since the base detaches. I would still avoid putting in the dishwasher since the temp display is still electrical. I'm ordering a few more as gifts. The mag is strong so if you mix in another cup, use the base to drag the little spinner back up to the top of the cup for you to remove. It mixes my instant cappuccino perfectly! (It even creates foam!) My partner has also used the base to mix up shakes in the bigger tumbler cups. as long as the cup's bottom doesn't have a gap or a very thick base it spins normally! To mix fully and without any sediment left at the bottom, add the liquid base first, start spinner, then add your mix. The lid doesn't leak and the straw is a really nice bonus!
